DESIGNER POSITION:

The Designer position is an integral role within our company. As a Designer, you will work closely with the sales team and project managers to execute professional and quality designs on projects for our clients nationwide. Designers must possess the ability to work quickly and efficiently to meet deadlines while maintaining integrity for safety standards. The ideal candidate is also able to troubleshoot using basic mathematics, pays meticulous attention to detail, has a strong grasp of building and structural mechanics, works well with others, is comfortable drafting simple and complex designs, can track and provide updates on project progress, including the material usage, changes or deviations from original plans, and ensure all necessary documentation is complete. This position is full-time at our office in west Phoenix.

Pay Range: $25-$30 per hour DOE.

Primary duties of the Designer position:

· Collaborates effectively with sales, project management teams to ensure timely completion of designs within budget.

· Maintain clear and intentional communication to ensure smooth coordination and execution of projects in database and written communications.

· Following workflow queues to ensure timely completion or edits to present designs.

· Read blueprints, legend symbols, scale of plan, and diagrams from different angles.

· Maintain accurate records of designs, ensuring all necessary documentation is complete.

· Comply with OSHA and Company safety policies and procedures.

Required knowledge & experience for this position:

· Minimum 2 years sign design industry experience required.

· 5+ years experience with CorelDRAW preferred, but not less than 2 years at proficiency.

· Proficient using Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Adobe design products.

· Detail-oriented with effective communication skills and professionalism.

· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision to achieve project goals and deadlines.

· Must be able to read blueprints.

· Regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.

Physical demands of this position:

· Ability to tolerate significant and prolonged periods of sitting and standing while working at a desk and in front of a computer.

· Frequent use of a computer, mouse, keyboard, and other office equipment which requires the use of one’s eyes, hands, and fingers to type, grasp, handle files, etc.

· May involve lifting and moving weight up to 15lbs, without assistance or supervision, using proper bending and lifting techniques.
