YARD COORDINATOR POSITION:

We have an immediate opening for a full-time Yard Coordinator. This position requires regular onsite attendance and will be responsible for shipping, receiving, and general upkeep of premises and vehicles.

YARD COORDINATOR SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Responsible for packaging signs for outgoing shipment and delivery.

· Making pallets and crates out of material in facility.

· Operating hand power tools, hydraulic power tools and heavy power tools.

· Operate a forklift/ Lift truck safely to load/ unload trucks and move material throughout facility.

· Be proficient on tasks assigned.

· Maintain all P.P.E. and use in appropriate manner.

· Fill out work instructions and timecards.

· Record material usage and report excessive waste.

· Routine maintenance on vehicles and perform inspections.

· Keep facility clean and free of clutter.

· Organize outdoor inventory.

· Perform other duties as assigned.

YARD COORDINATOR QUALIFICATIONS:

· Previous experience in a shop environment.

· Understanding of P.P.E. and shop safety.

· Experience with Shipping & Receiving.

· Proven track record of acceptable attendance.

· Be able to lift 25-50 lbs using proper lifting techniques.

· Be able to operate a pallet jack and forklift.

· Good communication skills.

· Experience with metal and wood working.

· Must be able to meet or exceed all safety requirements of Bootz & Duke in additional to all OSHA guidelines.

· Must have auto/truck mechanical skills.

· Experience with DOT regulations.

YARD COORDINATOR EDUCATION:

High School diploma or general education degree (GED) (preferred, not required)

YARD COORDINATOR COMPENSATION:

Full-Time Position: 40 hours per week.
Pay Range is $19.00 to $25.00 Depending on Experience.
